Fort Collins Montessori School, an AMI/USA Member school, is seeking Montessori trained Primary and Elementary guide for our expansion into our brand new, purpose-built facility in the 2021-2022 school year. FCMS serves children from 3 years to 12 years and was founded as a public charter school in 2014. We plan to continue to expand our program over the next 2 years, increasing classrooms each year.

FCMS is located in southwestern Fort Collins near Colorado State University. Many outdoor activities are available to residents, including skiing and hiking in the Rocky Mountains located only minutes away.

Our current Primary and Elementary guides and the Head of School are AMI certified. Our classrooms are well equipped environments, and our staff is committed to providing a true Montessori experience for children.

Monday through Friday, 3:30pm-5:30 pm each day in Falls Church (22043) near Tysons Corner/495/66. Two children – a 5.5 year old boy in kindergarten and 2.5 year old girl in primary preschool. Both are enrolled in a Montessori school and familiar with the practices and philosophy. The kids are independent, self-assured and enjoy each other’s company and like to explore nature, joke around, ask questions and develop bonds with enthusiastic adults who help empower them. We would like to continue cultivating Montessori principles at home and would like suggestions on how to improve. Childcare provider must be dependable, patient, creative and warm with great communication skills, solid judgment and like being outdoors. CPR/First Aid Certified. A plus if you speak another language that you could expose the children to (assistant guides at the kids’ school speak Spanish with them.) We would like for their after-school care to be consistent and stable for all 5 weekdays. This is a great long-term opportunity for the right person who clicks with the kids!
